Built for the bench, sized for the plant.
What each product format asks of a fragrance — the base it has to survive, the load it can carry, the families that work — and where to start in our catalogue. From a 30 g sample to production volumes, on the same specification.
Soap is the hardest place a fragrance lives.
3–6% on oil weight →Shampoo & body washIn a rinse-off product most of the fragrance goes down the drain.
0.3–1.0% →Detergent & floor cleanerHome-care fragrance works at a fraction of a percent and has three jobs: the smell when the pack opens, the smell in the wash or on the floor, and the smell left on dry cloth.
0.3–0.8% →AgarbattiA dipped agarbatti is only as good as its perfume and its dip.
15–30% perfume in the dip →DhoopDhoop carries its perfume inside the paste rather than on the surface, so the fragrance has to survive mixing, drying and a slow, smouldering burn.
Dose by trial →BakhoorBakhoor is wood chips or paste soaked in perfume and heated on charcoal or an electric burner.
Dose by trial →CandleA candle is a small chemistry experiment that runs for forty hours.
6–12% →Reed diffuser & room sprayA reed diffuser runs on capillary action: the reeds wick the solution up and the fragrance evaporates from their tips.
15–30% in the base →Attar & perfume oilAttar and perfume oils are worn neat or near-neat on skin, with no alcohol to lift them.
10–20% →Hair oilHair oil is a leave-on product that sits on the scalp for hours, often in heat and humidity.
Dose by trial →Fine fragranceFine fragrance is where naturals and aroma chemicals meet at their most exposed: in alcohol, on skin, with nothing to hide behind.
15–30% →Lotions & creamsLeave-on skin care is where fragrance limits bite hardest.
0.2–0.8% →Every range here is a commercial starting point, not a limit. The IFRA conformity certificate for the specific compound and product category — and the law where you sell — always override it.
