Application

Bakhoor Fragrance Oils — Oud, Amber & Rose.

Bakhoor is wood chips or paste soaked in perfume and heated on charcoal or an electric burner. It is heat, not flame, that releases it — so rich, heavy compositions of oud, amber, rose and musk are what the tradition is built on.

What the base demands

Heat release
Bakhoor is warmed rather than burnt, which favours heavy, tenacious materials. Ouds, ambers, resins, rose and musks perform; thin fresh notes do not.
Soak and dry
Chips or paste are soaked in perfume and allowed to absorb and dry. The perfume must not turn sticky, crystallise or separate on the chips.
Judge on the burner
Evaluate on the same burner your customer uses, at its real temperature, over the full release.

Every range here is a commercial starting point, not a limit. The IFRA conformity certificate for the specific compound and product category — and the law where you sell — always override it. How to work out your dose →
